New in 2022!

The Grande Innovation Academy is adding a library to its nest.

The Grande Innovation Academy is excited to announce we’re building a library for our scholars. The Christina’s Corner Library will be opening in the fall of 2022. The library is being named after Christina, a reading interventionist, who passed away but had a love for reading.

Libraries encourage scholars to read for pleasure by supplying a wide range of genres, authors, and topics for personal exploration. Libraries support independent reading, writing instruction, are an additional source for project research, and relevant reading material.

Friends of the Library

Adding a library to our nest is an exciting addition. While we live in a digital world, school libraries help with improving literacy and developing engaging readers. Libraries remove socioeconomic barriers by offering free resources and books. The addition of our library will give our scholars the opportunity to read beyond their class level, find information needed for research, increase productivity, and improve their academic success.

The “Friends of the Library” campaign will help us meet our goal. Sponsorship, local businesses, and families supporting the Friends of the Library campaign will leave a lasting impression on our scholars.

There are three tiers of Sponsorship:

  • Platinum for $1,000 comes with an 8 x 10″ plaque
  • Silver for $750 comes with a 5 x 7″ plaque
  • Bronze for $500 comes with a 4 x 6″ plaque

Bucks for Books

Spare change expands minds!

This spring families can support the library addition by donating spare change to the “bucks for books” campaign. Keep an eye out for information going home with your scholar.

We thank you for your continued support of the Grande Innovation Academy.
